By Jeanette Kastrup Ellersgaard / NM News Port

The 2022 baseball season is coming up and the Albuquerque Isotopes look forward to a full schedule of Triple-A action.

News Port’s Jeanette Kastrup Ellersgaard visited the Isotopes stadium for her audio journalism course and spoke with the team’s broadcaster.

“Josh Suchon spoke to UNM journalism students via Zoom. Suchon calls the action for the ABQ Isotopes. Suchon has a journalism degree from San Diego State University, has worked in newspapers, radio and television. He also wrote a non-fiction book, “Murder in Pleasanton.”

Some of the highlights of the upcoming Isotopes season will be theme nights such as Women in Sports Night, 50-Cent Hotdog Night and several fireworks nights.
