One Million Cups connects local entrepreneurs

One Million Cups, a program that educates and connects entrepreneurs, holds meetings every Wednesday morning at Fat Pipe Albuquerque where startups can present their ideas to an audience.

Some attendees, like Sophia Guido, heard about the meetings through others and decided to present.

“I got a lot of great feedback which is exactly what I was looking for,” Guido said.

Other presenters, like Kristen Browning, had some entrepreneurial experience but didn’t initially share her ideas.

“I did start out as an audience member… I got bugged by the organizers enough times that I finally signed up to present,” Browning said.

One Million Cups is based on the idea that entrepreneurs find business solutions and network over one million cups of coffee. It has 88 chapters nationwide and continues to grow.
