At a young age, Cindy Nava came to the United States from Mexico as an undocumented immigrant.

Her fear and struggle now inform her work as an activist and advocate for children in New Mexico. NM News Port’s Annya Loya filed this audio profile.

Cindy Nava says to everyone, that despite your background and barriers in life – you can transform all of it into pure drive.
