What outdoor activities will be available to young adults this summer?

[vc_row][vc_column width=”1/2″][text_output]

QUESTION IN PROGRESS

The question:

What outdoor activities will be available to young adults this summer within a 50 mile radius of Albuquerque… specifically inexpensive activities that don’t involve going to concerts or drinking at bars?

What we’ve learned:

We are focusing our reporting on activities of interest to a college-age crowd while giving our reporters license to inform the piece with their own comments and insights. We fanned out to various locations around Albuquerque. Our structure uses three themes: food, recreation and cultural/educational activities. All our picks relate to the outdoors, but some activities are indoor-outdoor.

What we have left to learn:

We are still searching for suggestions that could be considered “local hidden treasures.” Our ideas include the Botanical Gardens, ABQ Rail Yards Market, and hiking in Sandias.
